CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
Maximum benefit from Educate Yourself for Tomorrow can be derived by writing your own essays in response to the questions and thoughts following each topic. Students who complete all courses in Educate Yourself for Tomorrow will be awarded a "Certificate of Completion" for each of our four levels: Humanities 100, 200, 300 and 400.
Our course of study awards neither academic credit nor degrees. As a guide to colleges and universities using our materials, a grading system for academic credit follows:

| 1 | Responses to questions and thoughts indicate student is familiar with the topic, both the essay(s) and the accompanying material. |
| 2 | Responses to questions and thoughts show an understanding of the material and the ability to write well. |
| 3 | Student shows outstanding writing ability and excellent comprehension of the material. |
| 4 | Student's work includes original research. Essays and responses show profound understanding of the subject and excellent writing ability. |
How much of the total possible credits will be accepted for degree purposes depends upon what degree and in which institution you enroll.
50% of each grade is for writing ability
50% of each grade is for comprehension
For advanced degree credits, essay writing and any thesis submitted will be evaluated by two Educate Yourself for Tomorrow faculty mentors.
